Everywhere Shop is a new Queer and Trans owned gift + stationery store and
art space by Ash + Chess.
Having opened in the fall of 2023, Everywhere Shop will carries bright and colorful gift items, accessories, home decor, stationery, greeting cards and more, featuring products from LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, AAPI, Latinx and local makers.
Owned by Ashley Molesso (she/her) and Chess Needham (he/him), the couple behind stationery brand Ash + Chess and authors of The Queer Tarot: An Inclusive Deck & Guidebook and other publications, this is their first physical shop space. Since the inception of their greeting card and illustration business, they’ve always dreamed of opening a shop including their artwork alongside other inspirational artists and makers in the community.
Ash + Chess hope to create a safe space for queer and trans people living in or passing through the Catskills/Hudson Valley area, offering a place for small events, art workshops and a gathering space for any organizers or groups in need of a place to meet.
We named our store Everywhere Shop because Queer and Trans people are everywhere. The name evolved from one of our previous art endeavors, Everywhere Press, a Queer risograph press/printing service project we ran from 2020-2022.
